Charles River Fishing Report

Charles River - Nahanton Park Area

Took my wife out fishing today for the first time in my canoe. Great weather day and got into a few Larry's. I caught solid large mouth under a bridge on a crank bait early. As we went down stream there was a ton of leaves in the water so I switched to 5 inch watermelon Senko Texas rigged. Caught two Larry's right away. I lost both worms....does the Mister Twister Texas rigging lead to more worms falling off on the strike? I am happy catching fish so won't complain. Day ended with the wife catching her PB(see photo). She was really pumped. I love that she dropped the bass in the canoe and then used the sweatshirt as a glove so not to touch the fish!!
