Fish Camp '12
A late arrival, but I just didn't have the time to post.
This was certainly one of our best outings of the year, even with the sunburn...
Rainbow Trout and the occasional Brookie were hitting steadily all day, regardless of what we sent to the bottom; worms or Powerbait, spinner or regular hook... The amount of trout hooked by 4 people in one day was almost unbelievable!
Our only issue, as catch & release anglers, was the top water being slightly over 80°. After the fight and being hauled up through warm water some of the Rainbows and one Brookie just didn't make it. But, in the end, they did make it to a campfire, accompanied by butter, lemon, garlic and tinfoil.
