Freeman Lake; Chelmsford, MA Fishing Report

Freeman Lake

This past Friday, my brother and I decided to fish Freeman Lake in Chelmsford via canoe. I had decent results shore fishing eariler in the week, and wanted to see what this fishery had to offer. We both felt good about this trip, and the results did not disappoint. In the 4 hours we fished, we pulled in 15 bass and a pickerel. Half of the bass we reeled in were maybe in the 1 lb range, but the other half were closer to 2 lb, and the larry was probably near 3 lb (no scale, unfortunately). The best part of our day was hooking up fish at the same exact time. Only fitting for identical twins, right? I can't wait to head back there later this week.
