Caught my first fish of 2013. 19" 1.5 lb Chain Pickerel. Felt kind of bad. It swallowed the front treble on a KVD 1.0 square bill crank bait and I had to cut the hook off the lure. He swam away freely though.

Fished here from shore several times and once in my canoe never a bass yet. Plenty of pickles though lol.

Yeah, they treated it a couple of years ago but it is starting to grow in heavy again. I do like the pond though.

Not too bad at this point weedwise. Use weedless jigs and rigs. Or shallow diving crankbaits. No emergent vegetation yet.

Thought of going there today. May give it a shot tomorrow. Fishing from that dock is tough, very limited. Weeds on every cast?
