Review: The Ashepoo is popular when the weather is warm. The public ramp at Price's Bridge is good. This ramp is on Horseshoe Creek. I've caught bass, bream, catfish, stripers and spots. Good water depth for large boats. I fish Horseshoe down to where in intersects the Ashepoo and then up the Ashepoo from there. I like the river because it's close to home and when bass fishing you'll catch bass and spottails in the same water. They both will hit a worm. Chartruse or pumpkinseed are my two favorites here. Also electric chicken jigs and swimbaits. Worms and crickets for bream. Worms and cutbait for cats. The spots will hit anything!
