Today i got home from a long monday at work and decided to go fishing. Didn't have enough time to take out the kayak so i went to the bridge again over the charles. Turned up alright. After hearing that my brother caught a pike and a catfish and 2 larrys here earlier in the day i was eager to arrive. Set up shop and was quick to produce. Snagged a 1.5 pound bass follwed b 3 10 inch bass. Then came the catfish about 1 ft and 1.5 lbs (small). Overall a variety of fish caught here between yesterday nd today yielding 2 small northern pike, catfish, and some large mouth bass.

i went here with my brother first day with the baicaster. He also picked up a new rod. We get going and prob 5 min in he hooks a tiny 1lb bass. Then about 5 min later he says "i got somthin" and when i look he has pulled up a 1ft long norther pike. Didn't expect pike to be there but was a nice little treat his first one. will be in search for larry at this new spot and see if a pig lurks by the lilly pads.

today i took my yak to the charles. It was nice fishing but did have some weeds. Overall was happy with the spot. It had a lot of pads for cover and some nice fallen trees. I used worms all day and the one time i switched to a spinner she got stuck adn i had to let her go. Pulled three nice sized bass aboard the biggest was about 2.5 pounds. this spot was nice because there is parking on the side of 27 and it is a good sized portion of the charles with plenty of spots to chose from.

yesterday me and a buddy from work checked out this nice little pond. it does look bigger on google maps but it was still a pretty decent size. some weeds but a texas rigged worm does the job just fine. I hooked 7 bass pulled 5 aboard my yak. I would say the biggest was just shy of 2lbs. fished here for about 4 or so hours. There were a nice set of lilly pads in the far back corner which gave nice cover for bass. This is where we hooked the most followed by the banks around a little dock. for anyone who does not have a boat there is a little beach on the front by the public parking which can be fished off of.

This little spot is a gold mine for 2-3 pound bass with the occational Larry Lunker Lurking around the corners. I ahve been here many times in the spring semster while attending Umass Lowell. Sometimes on a nice day you can see 8-10 bass in the corner taking in some sun just under the surface. I have caught 15 fish in a day here before with the largest at 4lbs. Thsi spot really is a bass oasis on a good day and pigs do lurk hear. when ever i am in the area i make it a point to fish this excellent spot. one thing to keep in mind is that it is fenced off and may require you to jump the fense but usually by spring time a local had clipped the fence and rolled it back which makes access much easier. The back left corner is where its at. Great times have been spent here with Cmac and The Man P.

Another nice little Norfolk spot. Has some weeds but also some nice cover. Fishing near the banks can be somewhat of a problem with some trees lieing real low to the water touching the surface but for anyone with expirience it isn't an issue.

Very Nice little spot. extremely well cover. Nice banks with flooded grass. Water level was high which added to the cover. Goes from shallow to deep very quick with depths reaching 50ft.

took the kayak to the charles river acess point in norfolk and went upstream for a little bass action. Hooked a larry lunker about an hour in. Went up past lake populatic and further up the charles to medway line. Came back and fished lake populatic for an hour then made m way back up the river. Overall 6 hour trip with prob about 3 hours spent fishing. satisfied but would have liked to hook another lunker. Oh well off to fish trout tomorrow.
