started 630 an ended around 3-30ish water temp low 80s water in its usual oldham crystal clear state ;) and windy as all hell. bite start pretty good, james got the first one on the board around 2+lbs off a dock using a black n blue trigger craw. i caught my first couple on a black n blue chatter bait then would switch back n forth with a pit boss for the remainder of the day. for the first time for james being in oldham we didn't plane out for the sake of his new boat cuz we all know how scary oldham can be if you don't know the place well. thank god no major accidents , did hit ground a few times but no damage. james's son hooked into a solid 3 1/2 lbers off a rocky shoal past the island we caught a few fish here n there on chatter baits around the several different shoals in the pond. we even tried frogs in the back pads but only one good 3-4lb fish that exploded on james's frog. so once again back to skipping docks with creature baits which still produced great fish. we didnt weigh anything cuz we were too busy catching fish but id say a 5 fish limit to around 15-16lbs it literally was a war of 3 to 31/2lb fish james got lunker kinda wish we weighed it id say just under 4 all in all great day of fishing with 20+ fish caught ill take it we even had time to go swimming for a bit

jamesd got the new nitro z7 so of course we had to go out n give it a run for its money. we started out at furnace pond in pembroke looking for another awesome outing like like last week. much sunnier then we expected water in the 69-70 range water being its usual oldham/furnace stained water. nothing on frogs or spinnerbait, all 10-15 fish were caught on senkos and green pumpkin/purple flake pit bosses. some decent fish caught 5 fish bag around 10-11lbs. james's son turned out to have lunker of the day around 3-31/2lbs. all fish came within 5 ft of the lily pads but nothing in the pads. once we loaded up the nitro we headed to great herring most fish caught on the drop offs on the drop shot rig a first for me james and jayden (can you believe a 8 year old slaying smallies with a drop shot!)another 10-15 fish mostly small 5 fish bag for maybe 6lbs one huggge pickerel on a baby brush hawg close to 4lbs all in all great day on the water with great people and a great new boat
